Kenilworth Science and Technology Charter School is an open-enrollment, public, college-prep charter school serving about 500 students. Kenilworth was converted to a charter school in 2009, and we are proud to be one of the best open-enrollment middle schools in the Baton Rouge area.

We promise our teachers to provide all of the resources they need to focus only on teaching. All teachers are provided a laptop, iPad, iPhone, projector and speaker. If teachers request any other technology, subscription or book to help them in class, we do everything we can to comply with the request. The Kenilworth staff works as a team and support is available any time. Teachers are encouraged to co-plan with their colleagues. Every teacher has a dept. chair and instructional coach and teachers are given feedback weekly.

Kenilworth gives teachers autonomy to plan their lessons, while also providing support where helpful to ensure teachers deliver lessons effectively. We will never ask you to use a script!
