Developed by Educators for Educators

Teach225 is an online resource devoted exclusively to educators looking for resources at any point in their talent journey starting from joining the profession to becoming a leader in their school.

Welcome to Teach225

Welcome to Teach225, your one- stop-shop for aspiring, novice, veteran, and retired educators looking for resources, support, connection, and inspiration.

My name is Emily, and my experience as a teacher and principal taught me that empowered educators are the key to achieving the equitable outcomes our students deserve. Thus, our goal is to give aspiring and veteran educators alike the resources they need to thrive as they teach, lead, and live in Baton Rouge. Specifically, Teach225:

Celebrates Baton Rouge teachers and their impact in our community.
Elevates the teaching profession within our city.
Collaborates with local and national leaders to develop our craft.

At Teach225, young professionals and veteran educators alike will find the information and resources needed to be a transformative educator. This includes understanding where to teach, how to become a certified teacher, pathways for leadership, and wellness supports. Teach225 is an evolving project, and new resources are added all the time!
